What a year this has already been and we are only in April! Right before we left for Disney World, I lost 7 sites when my old web host was repeatedly hacked and then vanished. Either the economy got them or they gave in to the inevitable. I figured I would just fix it when I got back. Sounded like a good plan, right? Wrong. While we were at Disney World, my main computer crashed and burned in a stellar manner, taking all data with it never to be seen again. A power surge is suspected as all the clocks were flashing. Oh, the angst! After searching in vain for the backup backup disks I made, I suspect His Toddlerness used them as Frisbees or teleported them to another dimension. I would blame the dog but we don’t have one.

It must have been Gremlins. Who fed them after midnight?

Lessons learned.

The good news is I now have a new very reliable and green web host. I am starting this site site pretty much from scratch. And hey, a fresh start can be a good thing, right? Right?

Alas, this is no April Fool’s joke. I wish it was.
