So why aren’t we having the bacon wrapped smoked grilled steaks we were planning for dinner?

Our Coleman RoadTrip Grill caught fire and melted the burner and grill plates. Luckily it did not catch anything else on fire. The brown areas that looks like dirt is where the burner plate started sinking. The middle part of the grill just melted onto the gas burner below. Luckily having the top on kept the fire contained (though obviously kept the heat in too) and the fire did not spread to the propane tank.

I guess I will no longer be recommending the Coleman RoadTrip Grill. We will be taking more detailed pictures tomorrow and sending them to Coleman along with a letter. They need to know this happened. This could have been far more disastrous.
