Winter Breakfast Rice Porridge

Serves: 4-5
Prep Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients
5 cups cooked rice
4 cups rice milk or milk
2 medium size apples — chopped
½ cup raisins
¼ cup honey
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 tablespoon cinnamon

Instructions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large pot
2. Bring to a boil
3. Continue boiling, stirring continuously for 3 minutes or until apples are soft or… after bring the porridge to a boil the temperature can be turned down, covered, and left to simmer for 10-15 minutes

Notes: We like to serve the porridge with topping options of toasted almonds, rice milk, butter, and honey
